People I’m very pleased to announce a new addition to the family, our 1966 Ford F100!
I’ve been pining for a vintage truck for years and the more research I did the more overwhelmed I got. It’s hard to know if you’re getting a dream car or a lemon. How much are these babies really worth anyway and how do I know I’m getting a good deal?! Fortunately I have a great friend, whom I like to refer to as Cupid (since he introduced my husband and I). He also searches for old cars on the internet and sent a post my way randomly one Sunday morning.
Before we knew it, we were driving to Kentucky a few hours away to check out this gem in the rough. When you find the right one you just know it and for the price we had to have it! It runs great, came with a lot of extra parts in case we want to further fix it up and of course it’s beautiful.
A bonus to the whole adventure was the family who was selling it. They were so sweet and even showed us around their farm! They had a beautiful old tobacco barn where their cows lived and a chicken coop.
Rocky enjoyed himself too running free. Notice his hands blend with the ground because they are covered in cow manure and mud.
Now all that’s left is learning how to drive it and getting a farm of our own…
